Goldie Awards

25 Years of Goldies

July is the month that marks the end of the 2007-2008 Season at the CTG, and that's when we gather to honor and recognize our volunteers and to present our Goldie Awards.

This year marks the Goldies' 25th Anniversary and the Goldies committee, headed by Randy Aronson, Billy Davis, and Patti Finley, has some surprises in store! The event will once again be held at our theatre, so save the date now so you won't miss out on the fun: Saturday, July 12 is "G-Day!" and we hope you'll be there to share in the fun and excitement.

The evening will be structured differently from the way it has been in the past and the committee is working on finding Goldies Sponsors who will make it possible to offer much lower ticket prices so that more people can attend. If you know of anyone who would like to help sponsor this celebration of our volunteers, call Patti at the theatre and give her their name. Sponsors will receive an ad in the Goldies program and recognition in our programs throughout the year.

We're excited about the surprises that are being planned and hope to see YOU at the theatre on July 12!

The Irving G. Wallpaper Award honors volunteers who have contributed notable selfless time and effort above and beyond the "call of duty" during the production season.
