The Band
Paul Haaker is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in pedal steel guitar, fiddle, guitar, dobro, banjo, and mandolin. An accomplished touring and session musician, Paul has contributed to numerous television shows and film soundtracks. He spent more than 20 years touring and recording with Billboard charting artist Johnny Lee, best known for the Urban Cowboy soundtrack and the hit single "Lookin' for Love."

Taras Prodaniuk is a highly respected bassist renowned for his exceptional studio and live performances. Throughout his career, he has toured, recorded, and performed with an impressive roster of artists, including Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Steve Earle, The Spencer Davis Group, Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, Shelby Lynne, and many others. He is also widely recognized for his extensive work with the legendary Richard Thompson Trio.

Patrick Mertens is a versatile guitarist celebrated for his mastery of classic country, country rock, chicken pickin', hard rock, glam rock, and jazz. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Patrick is an in-demand touring, session, and instructional guitarist whose technical skill and musical versatility have made him a sought-after performer.

Louis Thomass is an international singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Louis began playing guitar at the age of 5 and professionally at age 15.  Louis’ mesmerizing talent is influenced by a wide range of genres from 50's rock & roll and rockabilly to 70's west coast country rock, late 70's A.O.R, and 90’s country music. Louis takes his musical notes from highly acclaimed artists, The Eagles, James Taylor, John Mayer & Tom Petty. “James Taylor's level of playing, but modern sensibility of songwriting.” “It takes one John Mayer, one Keith Urban, and the Eagles combined to describe the sound of Louis Thomass.” Louis also performs with legendary SoCal artists such as Dean Parks, one of the most prolific recording artists in music history.

Douglas Livingston trained as a classical pianist and was obsessed with the music of Johann Sebastian Bach since childhood; nonetheless, he defected into a distinguished pop music career. A combination of propinquity and coincidence thrust him into alliances with Neil Diamond, George Strait, Bette Midler, Babyface, Randy Newman, and Olivia Newton- John. He also served as bandleader for, and recorded with, Jose Feliciano and Donna Summer — at the flaming height of her late ‘70s disco renown.

Livingston, who appears Saturday, Dec. 19, at Viva Cantina as part of former Burbank Mayor Michael Hastings’ band, is universally regarded as one of the finest pedal steel guitar players alive today.

Kenneth Jenks is a seasoned multi-genre drummer and percussionist whose professional career began at just 16 years of age, performing western swing and traditional country music, with foundations in rock, big band jazz, drum corps, and fife-and-drum, and Marine Corps band. Kenneth is known for his solid groove, musical creativity, and dynamic performances. He has shared the stage with artists including Clinton Gregory, Clay Walker, Mel Tillis, Steve Wariner, and former Nashville Network Male Vocalist of the Year Jim Yeomans - releasing his 90s album "Dance with Me in Three-Quarter Time”, a regional hit, gaining airplay across the country and Europe. In addition to his extensive musical career, Kenneth holds BSEE, MSEE, MBA, and DBA degrees, and he is an alumnus of the Dick Grove School of Music.
