If I can't make it to a performance, can I change my reservation?


Yes, you can change your reservation! Simply call the Box Office and let them know. They will be happy assist with moving your seats to another performance.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that you will be able to secure the same exact seats on another performance, as seats are subject to availability. However, the Box Office will try to seat you as close to your original seats as possible.




Am I assigned one particular seat for the whole year?


No, you are not assigned one specific seat for the entirety of the year. Seats are assigned on a show-to-show basis as you call in to reserve.




How do I reserve my tickets? Where do I pick them up?


Stop by the theatre in person, or call the Box Office and give your name--it's that simple! We will try our best to accomodate your seating and performance date preferences based on availability.

After tickets have been reserved, they will be available for pick-up at the will call on the day of the performane. Tickets can also picked up beforehand on any regular business day.




Can someone else use my Membership tickets?


Yes! You can either make the reservation for them, or they can call in and let us know they'll be using your Membership tickets.




What if I sign up mid-season? Do I miss out on productions?


Annual Memberships are good for one calendar year and can be purchased year-round.

Though our season traditionally starts in the summertime and ends in the summer of the following year, that has no effect on your ability to purchase a Membership nor how many shows you'll be able to attend. Regardless of when you sign up during the year, your Membership would be valid through that same point of the following year.

In short, you will always be eligible to attend the same number of productions within the span of a year.




I missed a few productions. Do those unused tickets carry over for future use?


Unfortunately, if you can't make it to a production or simply choose to not attend, those unused tickets cannot be used at a later date.

However, since the Canyon Theatre Guild is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Arts Organization, any unused season tickets are tax-deductable!




Can I purchase additional seats when I reserve? Is there a discount?


Yes, CTG Members can purchase additional standard-price seats at the time of reservation! However, there is no special Member discount for purchased tickets.

Group discounts are available starting at 10 or more purchased tickets. For more information on group discounts, please see our TICKETS page.




What is the refund/exchange policy?


The Canyon Theatre Guild has a no-refund policy. However, purchased tickets that are unused/returned can sometimes be exchanched for gift certificates. If you are unable to attend a performance, please notify the Box Office before showtime. For more information, please contact the Box Office at (661) 799-2702.




Can I reserve seats for multiple Members?


Yes! To reserve seats for other Members, just let us know you wish to do so when calling in to reserve.

PERKS & THINGS TO KNOW

 

  • PRIORITY SEATING! CTG Members can reserve one week ahead of the general public for upcoming productions, typically starting the first Tuesday after closing performances.


Please be aware, there is typically a very large volume of calls coming in during that first Tuesday, and as a result, you may experience a longer wait time. Our friendly Box Office staff will be working to get through calls as quickly as possible. To speed up the reservation process and to cut down on wait times, we ask that you have your preferred show dates, times, and credit card (if necessary) prepared ahead of time.

 

  • ENJOY A SHOW? SEE IT AGAIN FOR FREE! CTG Members may see any regular-season production numerous times.

 

Please note, however, that those seats are subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance. Please contact the Box Office to check on availability ahead of time. A seat will be assigned to you in-person just before the start of the performance. If you do wish to hold specific seats in advance, those tickets must be purchased.
 

  • SCRT TICKET DISCOUNT! CTG Members are eligible to purchase one discounted ticket at $5 off to Santa Clarita Regional Theatre summer musical productions.

 

Please know that all SCRT productions are performed at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons, not at the Canyon Theatre Guild.

COVID-19 UPDATE: 9/14/20

Due to the resurgence of the COVID and government health orders, we unfortunately will once again be postponing the opening of our next two shows, "Suite Surrender" and "Pride and Prejudice" to late November. All Season Ticket Holders will have their memberships extended another two months at no extra cost. The exact dates will be announced as soon as possible, as we continue to monitor the situation.
