A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Holiday Greetings from the Canyon Theatre Guild!

I wanted to take this time to thank you for your wonderful support during these unprecedented times. It has been
over eight months since the theatre was closed due to the pandemic. During this Holiday Season, we at the Canyon
Theatre Guild have many things for which we are thankful, but what we are most thankful for is you. Your support
as an artist, a volunteer, and a patron of the theatre is our greatest blessing. The Canyon Theatre Guild could not do
what we have done for fifty years without you.

I am also extremely grateful to have my excellent full time staff working with me. Jennifer Teague, our Director of
Administration and Director of Youth Programs and John Lucewich our primary online workshop instructor and
Box Office Manager have been doing fabulous work. For eight months they have been doing an amazing job
teaching and engaging our youth in online theatre classes.

In addition to the online workshops, we are engaged in several maintenance projects here at the CTG making our
playhouse shiny and clean for your return - hopefully very soon. All season ticket holders will continue to have their
memberships extended for as long as we are closed, so you will have exactly as much time on your membership as
when we closed the theatre. We have received some grants that have helped pay some of our monthly expenses;
however, there is still a great need. We continue to have a negative cash flow, but due to the excellent leadership of
our Board of Directors under presidents Ashley Matkin and Felicia Provens-Sheppard, and our conservative fiscal
management, we are financially solid.

As you plan your year-end giving, we would like to ask you to consider a tax deductible contribution to the Canyon
Theatre Guild to assist us with our ongoing operating expenses.

We are looking forward to seeing you soon in person. May God bless you and your loved ones. Most happy holidays!

In your service,

TimBen Boydston
